About this product
Araldite Steel is a solvent-free, two-component epoxy adhesive designed for strong, permanent bonding of metal surfaces including steel, galvanised steel, cast iron, copper and brass. It also bonds to non-metallic materials such as ceramic, wood and glass. Once cured, the bond is water-resistant and can be painted or sanded, with a metallic grey finish that will not rust. The formula sets quickly, with parts repositionable for around 4 minutes and full handling time of about 1 hour. Full bond strength develops within 4 hours. Its gap-filling properties suit uneven breaks and repairs where precise fitting isn't possible. The cured bond withstands temperatures from -30°C to 100°C and resists oil, chemicals and impact, making it suitable for plumbing, bodywork and general metal repairs. Supplied as a 15ml twin tube pack.
