About this product
This 2.5 litre ready-mixed adhesive is designed for fixing ceramic wall tiles, suiting medium-sized tiling jobs such as bathroom walls or kitchen splashbacks. It can be applied to most interior surfaces, including plaster, plasterboard, cement rendering, plywood, blockboard, wood chipboard, brick, old glazed tiles and painted surfaces.
The formula is waterproof and mould resistant, making it suitable for areas prone to frequent wetting such as showers, and it sets within 24 hours. It has a non-slip consistency with an extended open time to allow careful positioning of tiles, and is tested to EN 12004.
Coverage varies with application method: around 1.2m² per litre with a notched trowel, or 0.3m² per litre for a solid bed. The adhesive is off-white in colour and supplied in a recycled bucket.
