About this product
This 50m open drum cable reel is designed for large sites and jobs needing extended reach beyond a standard extension lead. It has twin 240V sockets, allowing two tools to be powered at once, and comes fitted with a standard 240V plug on 1.25mm² cable.
A thermal overload protection system helps prevent the cable overheating during use, protecting both cable and equipment. The heavy-duty plastic drum sits on a sturdy steel frame with a textured grip for comfortable handling.
The reel complies with BS EN 61242. Maximum load is 3,120W (13A) when fully unwound, dropping to 960W (4A) if left wound, so it should be fully unwound before carrying its rated load.
