About this product
The Makita MR003GZ is a DAB/DAB+ job site radio built for construction and trade use. It runs from AC mains or from a wide range of Makita lithium-ion batteries, from 12V CXT up to 40V XGT, allowing power to be shared with other Makita tools. Output scales with battery voltage, and a 40V 4.0Ah battery can provide extended runtime.
It has a digital tuner with an illuminated LCD display and controls for use in low light, a dual 89mm speaker stereo system, and a soft-grip carry handle with a built-in FM antenna. An AUX-IN jack allows connection of external audio devices, and a Micro USB port supports software updates.
The casing has elastomer bumpers and reinforcement for protection against knocks on site. Dust and water resistance is rated IP65 in one source. Supplied as a bare unit without battery or charger.
