About this product
This mixed bag of 200 Broadfix U-Shims suits professionals and DIY users needing packers for a range of shimming jobs. The bag contains 140 small U-Shims (55 x 43mm) and 60 standard U-Shims (101 x 143mm), in thicknesses of 1, 3, 5, 6 and 10mm, colour coded by size for quick selection. Made from plastic with a high proportion of recycled material, the shims are waterproof and won't swell, shrink or rot, and they withstand higher compressive loads than traditional timber flat packers. The U-Shim design lets you loosely install a screw or fixing, then slide the required shims over it. A comb/clip feature holds them in place, leaving both hands free to tighten the fixing.
