About this product
These ForgeFix masonry anchor bolts, size M8 x 40mm, are supplied loose in packs of 10 with a zinc yellow passivated finish for durable corrosion resistance. The 40mm length suits deep embedment into thick walls or dense concrete, making them suitable for heavy-duty fixing tasks such as racking, machinery, trunking, pipework and switch gear.
Each bolt uses a four-way expansion shield to give strong, secure anchorage, with a specially manufactured retaining spring that keeps the wedge properly encapsulated during expansion. A recommended drill size of 14mm should be used, and the correct socket drive or spanner is needed for accurate installation.
