Thread repair kit comprising 15 precision stainless steel inserts designed for M4.0 × 0.70 metric threads. Inserts repair damaged threads or reinforce original threads in alloys and composite materials, and enable changeover between unified and metric thread standards. The kit includes a quality HSS tap, installation tool, tapping drill and detailed instructions. Inserts are made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Supplied in a sturdy container.
