About this product
The Makita DGA463 is an 18V cordless brushless angle grinder taking a 115mm wheel, supplied as a bare unit without battery, charger or case. It suits users needing a slim, lightweight grinder with strip discs, flap discs or polishing accessories.
Control is via an on/off slide switch with lock-on function and a variable speed dial. Automatic Torque Drive Technology adjusts speed and torque to load, while Active Feedback Sensing Technology shuts the motor down if the wheel suddenly snags. Other safety features include soft start, anti-restart function, an electric brake and an electronic current limiter.
The body has an ergonomic soft grip, a forward grip handle for control, a battery fuel gauge and removable dust covers. No load speed ranges from 3,000 to 8,500rpm, bore diameter is 22.23mm and maximum wheel thickness is 7.2mm.
