This Bahco 9627 Series Long Combination Auger Bit is a 22mm diameter, 460mm long bit intended for heavy-duty drilling where extra reach is needed, such as pipe installations, cable routing, large bolt clearances and timber joinery. The overall length of 460mm gives a working length of 385mm, suitable for drilling through thick structural timbers or deep wall assemblies.
It is made from hardened tool steel with a lacquer finish to resist rust, and features Levin pattern spirals for efficient chip clearance and smooth cutting across different wood types. The threaded tip moderates self-feed in power drills for control, while still providing enough feed for use in a hand brace, making the bit suitable for both power and manual operation.
