This 18mm Tri-Point Speed Auger Bit from Faithfull is designed for drilling holes in all types of wood, suiting jobs such as plumbing pipe runs, cable bundles and larger dowel work. It has an overall length of 159mm and is made from high-quality carbon steel with ground and honed cutting edges.
Three spurs and cutting edges produce round holes with less chance of binding, while the three-flute design clears waste efficiently for faster drilling than traditional auger bits. A self-feeding screw tip aids accurate centring and draws the bit through the workpiece with minimal effort.
The bit has a quick-release 1/4in hex shank rated for impact use, making it compatible with impact drivers as well as corded and cordless drills.
