About this product
This 28mm Tri-Point Speed Auger Bit from Faithfull is designed for heavy-duty, large-bore drilling in all types of wood, suited to tasks such as waste pipe runs, cable ducting and substantial joinery work. It has an overall length of 159mm.
The tri-point design, with three spurs and cutting edges, produces round holes with less binding, while the three-flute construction removes waste efficiently for faster drilling than traditional auger bits. A self-feeding screw tip aids accurate centring and pulls the bit through the workpiece.
It is precision machined from carbon steel with ground and honed cutting edges, and fitted with a quick-release, impact-rated 1/4in hex shank compatible with impact drivers and standard corded or cordless drills.
