About this product
The Hultafors Overstrike Guard is a leather collar that protects an axe handle from damage caused by an overstrike, where the tool misses its target and strikes the handle near the head. It ties in place using the included leather cords, fitting securely without affecting grip or balance. Made in Sweden from vegetable-tanned full grain leather sourced from Swedish cattle, the guard is produced with care for animal welfare and the environment. The natural tanning process gives good durability and allows the leather to develop a patina with use. It fits Hultafors Premium Axes: Ågelsjön, Hultån, Åby, Dvärdala, Ekelund and Qvarfot, and measures 120mm in length.
