The spherical striking face provides a centred and efficient blow. The notches prevent pop out from the log being split. It has a sharp point for easy start. Use with a sledge hammer for the greatest effect.Weight: 1.82kg (4 lb) 1 x Hand Axe that has a drop-forged alloy steel blade which has been hardened and tempered. It uses industrial grade epoxy for a longer-lasting bond and has a solid core fibreglass handle with polypropylene cover, that is stronger than wood.
