About this product
The Makita DPB182 is a compact cordless portable bandsaw powered by the 18v LXT lithium-ion battery system (sold separately). Its rigid aluminium structure gives stable cutting, while the compact, lightweight design offers good manoeuvrability in horizontal and overhead work. It suits cutting conduit, copper pipe, threaded rod, angle iron and channel.
Features include tool-less blade changing, easy blade track adjustment via a screw, an anti-slip elastomer grip, and an LED job light for dark areas. A wheel cover encloses the blade outside the cutting zone, allowing one-handed operation, and a battery protection circuit guards against over-discharge, overheating and overload.
Capacity is 64mm for round pipe and 64x64mm for square pipe, with a blade length of 835mm and width of 13mm, running at 0-3.2 m/sec. Supplied as a bare tool with no battery, charger or case.
