The Makita DUC150Z is a cordless 18V pruning saw designed for pruning garden or orchard trees, offering a compact, lightweight build for easy handling. It runs on a brushless, maintenance-free motor with an electric brake for improved productivity and safety, plus automatic chain lubrication and tool-less chain adjustment for quick maintenance.
A rubberised soft grip handle adds comfort and control, reducing fatigue during use, while XPT (Extreme Protection Technology) guards against dust and water ingress. The lock-off lever is accessible from both sides.
Specifications include a 150mm (6in) guide bar, maximum no-load chain speed of 8.0m/s, chain gauge of 1.1mm/0.043in, 32 drive links, a 0.055 litre oil tank, and a net weight of 1.1kg. Supplied as a bare unit without battery or charger, including guide bar, chain, file set, oil vessel and guide bar case.
