About this product
The Makita DUC307ZX2 is a cordless 18V chainsaw with a brushless motor, designed to run at a lower RPM with higher torque thanks to a gear reduction mechanism. It has a rear handle design with soft grip padding for comfortable handling, and is powered by any Makita 18V LXT battery (sold separately). The chain can be changed and tensioned without tools, and safety features include a lock-off button, an electric chain brake and a mechanical kickback brake. A large oil tank cap makes refilling easy, with a chain oil view window for checking levels. Specifications include a 300mm bar length, 7.7 m/sec chain speed, 3/8in pitch and 0.043in gauge chain, a 150ml oil tank capacity, and a weight of 4.2kg. Supplied as a bare unit with chain, chain cover and chain oil, but no battery or charger.
