About this product

This Faithfull flooring chisel is designed for cutting the tongue in laid tongued and grooved floorboarding, allowing part of the board to be removed. It is a specialist tool for carpenters and flooring specialists working with traditional timber floors. The chisel has a hardened and tempered cutting edge that maintains its sharpness during use, and is fitted with a sturdy rubber safety grip for secure handling and reduced hand fatigue. It measures 230 x 57mm (9 x 2.1/4 inch), giving a blade width suited to accessing and cutting tongue and groove joints. This chisel is intended for timber work only and must not be used for cutting bricks, as this would damage the cutting edge.
