The Hultafors EDC16 is a 16mm Scandinavian butt chisel designed for everyday carpentry and joinery work, including general mortises, door lock fitting, timber preparation and all-round tasks from fitting and adjusting to prying and light demolition. The overall length is 232mm.
The blade is made from high-quality Japanese steel, sharpened for reliable cutting performance, and protected against rust with an Electrophoretic deposition (EPD) coating. The heavy-duty handle is built to withstand hard hammer blows, making the chisel suitable for tough precision work.
It comes supplied with a smart holster and clip, allowing it to be carried and accessed easily.
