About this product

This 4-piece Marples MS500 ProTouch chisel set from IRWIN is designed for carpentry, joinery and general woodworking, suiting both trade and workshop use. Each chisel has a one-piece forged blade made from special tool steel, giving a sharp cutting edge, while a specialised hardening process helps the edge last longer between sharpenings. A large metal striking cap protects the handle from hammer impacts and prevents mushrooming, extending handle life. The ProTouch handle is shaped for a comfortable grip and reduces vibration and hand fatigue during use. Each chisel is honed and sharpened, ready to use straight from the packet. The set includes four sizes: 6, 13, 19 and 25mm (1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and 1in), covering common woodworking tasks.
