The Stanley 0-16-877 Dynagrip Bevel Edge Chisel is an 18mm (3/4in) chisel suited to demanding woodworking and carpentry tasks, such as chopping out wide mortises and cleaning housing joints in larger timber sections. The forged blade is lacquered for corrosion protection and designed for edge retention, and it is supplied pre-sharpened and ready for use. The chisel features a steel striking cap, allowing it to be struck directly with a steel hammer for greater striking efficiency during heavier work. It has a longer Dynagrip soft-grip handle, intended to offer comfort, control and resistance to shock or shattering during extended or intensive use. Weighing around 0.3kg, the chisel is part of the Dynagrip range and is manufactured in Sheffield, England.
