About this product
The Makita DHS680 is an 18V cordless brushless circular saw designed for cutting wood, taking a 165mm blade with a 20mm bore. Its brushless motor and automatic speed control adjust cutting speed to the load, switching between a high-speed mode for light work and a high-torque mode for heavier cuts, giving efficient use of battery power.
A magnesium die-cast base, blade case and safety cover keep the tool compact and lightweight at 3.3kg. Other features include a twin LED work light, blower function to clear dust from the cutting line, soft start, electric brake, spindle lock, overload protection with an LED indicator showing battery charge, and a tool hanger. Maximum cutting depth is 57mm at 0°, 41mm at 45° and 37mm at 50°, with a no-load speed of 5,000rpm.
Supplied as a bare unit with a TCT blade, hex wrench, rip fence and dust nozzle, but without battery, charger or case.
