About this product
This Irwin Professional Speed Clamp measures 1000mm (40in) in length with a 120mm (5in) throat depth, making it suited to large panel work, door assembly, wide timber frames and other substantial clamping tasks. Its I-beam/ribbed design, built with investment casting, gives higher mechanical strength than standard speed clamps and reduces the risk of failure.
A patented floating lock mechanism improves safety and prevents slippage under load, while the 3-component handle offers a soft-grip surface for comfortable, high-force operation. Removable snap-fit pads grip the workpiece securely while limiting marking, and flat feet allow the clamp to stand freely in either a horizontal or vertical position.
The clamp is zinc plated to guard against rust and extend its working life.
