About this product
The Dormer P801 is a solid carbide rotary burr in a cylinder shape without an end cut, designed for surface machining and general metal removal. It suits a wide range of materials, including steel and cast steel, stainless steel, cast iron, copper alloys, non-ferrous metals, high-temperature alloys and hardened materials. It uses a double cut geometry, giving good control, an increased metal removal rate and breaking swarf into manageable pieces for smoother, more efficient work. The shank is toughened and hardened steel for rigidity and strength, reducing vibration and bending to extend tool life, with special brazing for a strong bond between shank and tip. Specification: diameter 12.7mm, shank diameter 6mm, working length 25mm, overall length 70mm. Uncoated (bright) finish.
