The Dormer P805 is a solid carbide rotary burr with a ball nosed cylinder shape, used for precision machining tasks such as creating contours and circular arcs. It suits materials including steel, cast steel, stainless steel, cast iron, copper and copper alloys, high-temperature alloys and hardened materials. It features double cut (skip flute) geometry, which increases strength at the centre, reduces swarf congestion and breaks swarf into manageable pieces, giving improved control and metal removal rate. The bright, uncoated finish resists wear, while the toughened, hardened steel shank adds rigidity and strength, reducing bending and vibration for better tool life. Specification: diameter 12.7mm, shank diameter 6mm, working length 25mm, overall length 70mm.
