About this product
Everbuild Aquaseal Waterproof Tanking Membrane is a ready-to-use liquid waterproofing compound applied by brush in a 2-coat system. It forms a permanently flexible, watertight barrier on floors and walls prior to tiling, suited to shower areas, wet rooms and other moisture-exposed spaces, as well as balconies and partially covered external areas. It is non-hazardous, solvent-free, requires no diluting, and can be tiled over after 12 hours.
It can be used alone or as part of the Aquaseal Wet Room System alongside Aquaseal Tanking Primer, Tanking Tape and Tanking Drain Mat. It is compatible with plasterboard, MDF, plywood, cementitious boards, blockwork, concrete and speciality wet room boards.
It should not be applied below 10°C, nor externally if rain is expected within 6 hours. The second coat must wait until the first has dried, and damp or humid conditions will extend drying times.
