About this product
Sika Black Jack 903 Bitumen Trowel Mastic is a black, heavily-filled bituminous compound reinforced with added fibres, applied by trowel. The 1 litre size suits smaller repair jobs and touch-ups, making it practical for tradespeople needing a portable option on site or for homeowners tackling modest DIY projects.
It is used for waterproofing, stopping, bedding, bonding and sealing, and for filling holes in mastic asphalt, roofing felt, corrugated iron, cast iron, fibre cement, slates, lead, copper, zinc, concrete and timber, including guttering and downpipes. It also patches holes in roofs and repairs bituminous coatings.
Once applied, the compound forms a protective surface skin while the mass beneath stays soft, allowing moderate movement without losing its seal.
