J-B Weld Perma-Lock Red is a high strength threadlocker supplied in a 36ml bottle, suited to workshops and trade users who need larger quantities for regular use. It is designed for heavy-duty applications where resistance to severe shock and vibration is required, providing a reliable lock and seal for threaded fasteners.
It is suitable for bolt sizes from 1/4in to 1in and is OEM approved, used by original equipment manufacturers to keep fastenings secure. Typical uses include rocker arms, stud bolts, frame bolts, fasteners, bushings and other vibration-sensitive items on mechanical parts and body assemblies.
Being a high strength formula, it forms a permanent bond, so heat and hand tools are needed to separate parts once cured. It is temperature resistant up to 148°C (300°F).
