About this product
The Bahco 9629 8 Piece Flat Bit Set is aimed at carpenters, joiners and contractors drilling holes in timber and manufactured boards. Each bit has a positive cutting angle designed to drill twice as fast and last three times longer than conventional flat bits, making the set suited to frequent boring work. Bits are made from high-carbon steel, heat-treated throughout, with the hardened blade forged directly from the round shaft for strength. Winged shoulders cut the wood's perimeter before clearing the centre, giving a smooth finish and good swarf clearance, while cutting spurs improve accuracy on larger holes. The set includes eight sizes — 12, 16, 18, 20, 22, 25, 28 and 32mm — supplied in a plastic carry case for storage and transport between jobs.
