About this product
The Bahco 9631 Long Flat Bit is a 24mm diameter wood bit with an overall length of 400mm, designed for drilling deep, accurate holes where extra reach is needed, such as larger waste pipe runs, ventilation ducting or cable routing through thick timber.
It has a positive cutting angle that drills holes twice as fast and lasts three times longer than a conventional bit. The bit is made from high-carbon steel, heat-treated throughout, with the hardened blade forged directly from the round shaft for added rigidity during deep drilling.
Winged shoulders cut the wood's circumference before removing the centre section, giving a smooth finish and good swarf clearance even on larger diameter holes.
