About this product
This 20mm DEWALT Brad Point drill bit is designed for drilling clean, accurate holes in hardboard, plywood, chipboard and natural hard and softwoods. Being the largest in the range, it suits heavier-duty work such as large clearance holes or bigger joinery tasks in thick timber. A centre location point and outer cutting spurs keep the bit from wandering on entry and produce a clean edge with minimal splintering, even in knotty timber. The flutes are designed to clear the higher chip volume produced at this diameter, helping maintain steady, clog-free cutting. Made from chrome-vanadium alloy steel, hardened and ground centric for accuracy. As with other bits of 11mm and above in this range, the shank is reduced to 9.5mm. Overall size is 20 x 200mm.
