This DEWALT TCT Hinge Boring Bit is a tungsten carbide tipped drill bit for cutting flat-bottomed holes for concealed cup hinges in timber-based materials. It has a centring point for accurate hole positioning and TCT cutting edges that give clean, precise bores without tearing or splintering the workpiece, making it suitable for man-made materials with abrasive resins as well as natural timber. The hexagonal anti-slip shank provides a secure grip in the drill chuck, reducing slippage during use. It is suitable for hardboard, plywood, natural hardwoods, and softwoods, and is useful for joiners, kitchen fitters and carpenters fitting cabinet hinges. Diameter: 35mm. Length: 65mm. Fitment: hex shank.
