About this product
These DEWALT Extreme 2 metal drill bits are designed for portable or stationary drilling of alloyed and non-alloyed steel up to 900N/mm, and are also effective in wood and plastic. They are particularly suited to drilling sheet or thin materials where accurate, burr-free holes are needed. A strong central core with a tapered web reduces breakage, while a gold ferrous oxide coating helps prevent overheating for longer bit life. The patented split pilot point eliminates walking or slipping on contact, aiding accurate positioning, and three flat sides stop the bit slipping in the chuck. Permanent size markings above the shank improve visibility. Each bit has a diameter of 1.0mm, a working length of 12mm and an overall length of 34mm, supplied as a pack of two HSS bits.
