About this product
These DEWALT Extreme 2 metal drill bits are designed for portable or stationary drilling of steel, alloyed and non-alloyed, up to 900N/mm. They are particularly suited to drilling sheet or thin materials where accurate, burr-free holes are needed, and also work effectively in wood and plastic. A strong central core with a tapered web reduces the risk of breakage, while a gold ferrous oxide coating helps prevent overheating and extends bit life. The patented split pilot point eliminates walking or slipping on contact, aiding accurate positioning, including on curved surfaces. Three flat sides on the shank help stop the bit slipping in the chuck, and permanent size markings above the shank improve visibility. Specification: HSS head, 1.5mm diameter, 18mm working length, 40mm overall length, supplied as a pack of two.
