About this product
This DEWALT Extreme 2 metal drill bit is designed for portable or stationary drilling of steel, alloyed and non-alloyed, up to 900N/mm. It is particularly suited to drilling sheet or thin materials where accurate, burr-free holes are needed, and is also effective in wood and plastic. A patented split pilot point eliminates walking or slipping on contact, aiding accurate positioning even on curved surfaces. An innovative tapered web reduces breakage, while a gold ferrous oxide coating helps prevent overheating for longer bit life. Three flat sides stop the bit slipping in the chuck, and permanent size markings above the shank improve visibility. Specification: HSS head, 4.2mm diameter, 43mm working length, 75mm overall length, supplied as a single bit.
