About this product
The DEWALT Extreme 2 Metal Drill Bit is designed for portable or stationary drilling of alloyed and non-alloyed steel up to 900N/mm, and works effectively in wood and plastic materials too. It is particularly suited to drilling sheet or thin materials where accurate, burr-free holes are required. A strong central core with a tapered web reduces breakage, while a gold ferrous oxide coating helps prevent overheating for longer bit life. The patented split pilot point eliminates walking or slipping on contact, aiding accurate positioning, and three flat sides help stop the bit slipping in the chuck. Permanent size markings above the shank improve visibility. Specification: HSS head, 7.0mm diameter, 66mm working length, 109mm overall length, supplied as a single bit.
