About this product
These HSS metal drill bits are designed for portable or stationary drilling of steel, alloyed and non-alloyed, up to 900N/mm, and are also effective in wood and plastic. They suit sheet or thin materials where accurate, burr-free holes are needed. A split point tip prevents the bit from wandering or slipping on contact, allowing precise hole placement, while three flat sides stop slipping in the chuck. A tapered web reduces breakage, and a gold ferrous oxide coating helps prevent overheating. Permanent size markings above the shank aid visibility. Diameter 10.0mm, working length 84mm, overall length 133mm, supplied as a pack of 10.
