About this product
This DEWALT multi-material drill bit is designed for drilling into wood, plastics, mild steel, non-ferrous metals and masonry without changing bits. It features a carbide split-point tip and aggressive flute angles for efficient drilling, and can be used in either rotary or percussion drilling modes, making it suitable for work near corners and edges. The bit is made from CrNiMo steel for good power transmission and resistance to breakage, with a fully supported carbide head for faster drilling. A no-spin shank with milled clamping surfaces prevents rotation and slippage in the chuck, improving retention. Diameter is 4.0mm, with an overall length of 103mm and a working length of 73mm. The shank connection is round.
