About this product
This DEWALT multi-material drill bit is designed for drilling into wood, plastics, mild steel, non-ferrous metals and masonry without needing to swap bits between materials. It has a carbide split-point tip with aggressive flute angles, giving a fully supported carbide head for faster drilling, and can be used in both rotary and percussion drilling modes. The bit is made from CrNiMo steel for good power transmission and resistance to breakage. Its shank has milled clamping surfaces to prevent slipping and rotation in the chuck, helping retention and drilling accuracy near corners and edges. Diameter is 5.0mm, with an overall length of 113mm and a working length of 83mm.
