About this product
This DEWALT multi-material drill bit is designed for drilling into wood, plastics, mild steel, non-ferrous metals and masonry, making it suitable when a range of materials need to be tackled without changing bits. It has a carbide split-point tip with a fully supported carbide head, giving fast, accurate drilling and good performance near corners and edges. It can be used in either rotary or percussion drilling modes. The bit is made from CrNiMo steel for strength and resistance to breakage, with an anti-slip shank featuring three milled clamping surfaces to prevent rotation in the chuck and maintain grip during use. Diameter is 8.0mm, with an overall length of 134mm and a working length of 104mm, and a round shank/connection.
