About this product
This DEWALT Extreme Masonry Drill Bit is designed for drilling anchor, plastic plug, fixing or pipework clearance holes in masonry, brick, stone, tiles and light concrete. It is claimed to last up to twice as long and deliver up to 50% more holes per charge on a cordless drill than a standard masonry bit.
An optimum carbide grade is used to maximise durability, with a unique tip design giving efficient drilling and reduced walking for greater accuracy. The optimised milled flute aids fast drilling, while special copper brazing withstands high temperatures. The hardened steel body has core reinforcement and a large volume machined spiral for strength, plus an anti-slip shank.
