About this product
This DEWALT Extreme Masonry Drill Bit is designed for drilling into masonry, brick, stone, tiles and light concrete, typically for anchors, plastic plugs, fixings or pipework clearance holes. It is claimed to last up to twice as long and deliver up to 50% more holes per charge on a cordless drill compared with a standard masonry bit.
An optimum carbide grade aims to maximise durability, while a unique tip design is intended to give efficient drilling with reduced walking for better accuracy. The optimised milled flute is designed for fast drilling, and special copper brazing is intended to withstand high temperatures. The bit has an anti-slip shank and a hardened steel body with core reinforcement.
