About this product
The Dormer A002 is a jobber drill bit made from HSS with a Titanium Nitride coating, designed for accurate, efficient drilling across metal, wood, plastic and other materials. The pointed web and fluted tip design reduces axial force for accurate centring, while the web geometry adds strength, rigidity and improved feed. Flutes assist efficient chip formation and evacuation. The TiN coating resists flank and crater wear and reduces friction, allowing increased cutting speeds and reduced heat buildup, while the bright body finish improves performance on ductile materials. It has an optimised helix angle for stiffness and a 118° point angle, conforming to DIN 338. This bit measures 12.50mm diameter, with a working length of 101mm and overall length of 151mm, supplied singly in a pouch.
