About this product
The Dormer A002 is a jobber drill bit made from high-speed steel with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, designed for accurate hole-drilling across metal, wood, plastic and other materials. The pointed web and fluted tip give efficient cutting with reduced axial force and accurate centring, while the web design improves strength, rigidity and feed. The flutes assist efficient chip formation and evacuation. The TiN coating resists flank and crater wear and lowers friction, allowing increased cutting speeds and reduced heat buildup, extending tool life. The bright body finish suits ductile materials, and the bit has a 118° point angle to DIN 338, suitable for hand-held or machine drilling. This pack contains two bits with a 2.00mm tip diameter, 24mm working length and 49mm overall length, marked for easy identification.
