Dormer A002 HSS-TiN coated jobber drills, supplied in a pouch of two, with a tip diameter of 3.20mm, working length of 36mm and overall length of 65mm. Suitable for hand-held or machine drilling of metal, wood, plastic and other materials. Each bit features a pointed web and fluted tip design, giving efficient cutting with reduced axial force and accurate centring. The web design offers strength and rigidity and improves feed, while the flutes aid chip formation and evacuation. Tool in-situ markings allow easy identification, and an optimised helix angle adds stiffness. The bright body improves cutting performance on ductile materials, while the titanium nitride coating resists flank and crater wear, reduces friction and heat buildup, and allows increased cutting speeds, giving extended tool life. Made to DIN 338 with a 118° point angle.
