Dormer A002 HSS-TiN coated jobber drill bits, supplied as a pouch pack of 2, with a tip diameter of 4.00mm, working length of 43mm and overall length of 75mm. The pointed web and fluted tip design gives efficient cutting with reduced axial force and accurate centring, while the web design adds strength, rigidity and improved feed. The flutes assist efficient chip formation and evacuation, and an optimised helix angle provides stiffness across the diameter range. The bright body suits ductile materials, and the titanium nitride coating resists flank and crater wear while lowering friction, allowing increased cutting speeds and extended tool life. Suitable for hand-held or machine drilling, with a 118° point angle to DIN 338, for use on metal, wood, plastic and similar materials.
