About this product
The Dormer A125 is a high-speed steel extra-length drill bit designed for deep hole drilling and long-reach applications, capable of drilling up to 10 times its diameter. It is suited to professional and industrial use where standard-length drills cannot reach.
This bit has a 5mm tip diameter, a working length of 150mm and an overall length of 200mm. It features a standard spiral flute design, a 118° point angle, steam tempering and meets BS328.
Care should be taken when using extra-long drills to avoid bending or breaking, ideally by starting with shorter bits and letting the drilling machine do the work rather than applying excessive pressure.
