About this product
The Dormer A125 is a high-speed steel extra-length drill bit designed for deep hole drilling and reaching hard-to-access areas. It is a general purpose drill capable of drilling up to 10 times its diameter, suited to professional and industrial use.
This bit has a standard spiral flute design with a 118° point angle and is steam tempered, manufactured to BS328. It measures 6mm in diameter, with a working length of 250mm and an overall length of 315mm.
Care should be taken when using extra-long drill bits, as excessive pressure can cause bending or breaking; it is advisable to let the drilling machine do the work and progress through shorter lengths first.
