About this product
This Dormer A170 drill has a 1/2in parallel (reduced) shank, allowing a 16mm tip diameter to be used in chucks with limited holding capacity. Often referred to as a Blacksmith's drill, it is a general-purpose tool suitable for both hand and machine use across a wide range of materials.
Made from high-speed steel with a steam-tempered finish, it features a standard spiral flute design, right-hand rotation and cutting, and a 118° drill point. It is designed for efficient drilling in steel without the need for pecking.
