About this product
The Dormer A777 is a heavy-duty jobber drill bit made from HSS-E cobalt steel (8% cobalt), giving good hardness and heat resistance for demanding, high-stress drilling work. It suits tougher, higher-tensile materials where more heat is generated during drilling, including aerospace applications.
It features a 135° split point geometry (to NAS 907 type P3), which reduces walking and improves drilling accuracy, along with a standard helix, right-hand spiral, thick web design and a bronze surface finish. Manufactured to DIN 338 / BS328 / ISO 235.
This bit has a tip diameter of 10.0mm, a working length of 87mm and an overall length of 133mm.
