About this product
The Dormer A777 is a heavy-duty jobber drill bit made from HSS-E cobalt steel (8% cobalt), giving high hardness and good heat resistance for demanding drilling on tougher, higher-tensile materials. It has a 135° split point geometry (to NAS 907 aerospace specification), which reduces walking and improves drilling accuracy, especially where higher heat is generated during use.
It features a standard right-hand helix spiral with a thick web and a bronze surface finish, made to DIN 338 / BS328 / ISO 235. This bit measures 3.80mm tip diameter, with a 43mm working length and 75mm overall length.
